  • Overview

    As a member of both the Waters Corporate Human Resources Leadership Team and TA Instruments Business Committee, the HR Business Partner will be managing the worldwide TA HR Business Partner functions. 

    Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

    • Establishes a compelling vision and HR strategy to support the TA strategic and financial objectives. Ability to represent the company effectively including the company vision, values and culture to HR and TA team members, managers, employees, customers, vendors and any other interested parties at all times.
    • Participates as an active member of both the Waters HR Leadership Team and TA Business Committee including providing time, resources, solutions, suggestions, and expert advice in the area(s) of responsibility as well as across all areas of the business to achieve the best overall success possible for the entire organization.
    • Provides expert opinion on area(s) of responsibility to assist TA President in strategic planning, problem solving and overall direction decisions for the company.
    • Provides functional expertise as it relates to M&A analysis, decision making, due diligence, planning and implementation of acquired companies.
    • Program Management of various HR related projects, process improvements, change management and implementation of HR strategic plans for success of both short and long-term goals for the overall HRBP service delivery model to the TA organization.
    • Establishes project goals and analyzes and makes adjustments needed for the continual achievement of these goals in a timely and cost-efficient manger.
    • Builds, trains, develops and manages a world class team capable of achieving the innovation necessary to keep TA InstrumentsWaters/TA at the forefront of the industry.
    • Communicates expectations, manages performance, coaches and develops organizational talent in order to enhance the employee satisfaction and overall results for the organizational functions at TA.

    The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following

    • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Resources related field plus a minimum of 10 years experience OR Masters in HR related degree or MBA degree preferred with at least 7 years relative experience 
    • Must have Global Human Resources Business Partner experience, preferrably across all business functions (sales, service, marketing, operations, R&D, G&A, etc.)
    • Must have experience in the Technology or Manufacturing Industry
    • Must possess Organizational Effectiveness.
      • Builds high performing focused teams of managers and employees in the functional area(s) of responsibility capable of consistently achieving department targets.
      • Ensures team members understand what is expected of them and that they deliver the right business outcomes.
    • Possesses Strategic Planning and Execution experience.
      • Establishes short and long term strategic goals and tactics to achieve project innovation targets both timely and cost effectively.
    • Possesses experience in International Human Resources Generalist & Management responsibilities (compensation and benefits planning and administration, employee and labor relations, data administration, HRIS utilization, regulatory, compliance and financial reporting, performance management, P&L responsibility, etc.)
    • Demonstrated effective Leadership Model behavior traits including authentic, enterprise, outside-in, agile and people focused for continued organizational success.
    • Accountable, customer focused, results oriented, team builder, flexible and innovative.
    • Disciplined leader managing with facts, data and clear metrics.
