  • Overview

    As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing digital marketing strategies and leading digital campaigns from concept to execution at TA instruments business. Attention to detail, along with the ability to grasp current marketing tools and strategies is critical for this role.  Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is a highly visible, global role that must lead through influence with a number of cross-functional teams across the entire TA instruments business.
     
    A self-directed, highly motivated individual with strong business acumen, passion for marketing as well as proven knowledge of digital marketing tools would be ideal for this position. Domestic and international travel of up to 20% is required.

    Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

    • Develop marketing and positioning strategies that differentiate TA instruments innovative technologies
    • Manage the digital marketing group, consisting of marketing analysts and graphic designers
    • Design, plan and execute all TA digital marketing, including paid search, search engine optimization, email marketing, social media and display advertising campaigns
    • Lead the design, development and maintenance of our social media presence
    • Direct marketing analysts on designing effective lead generation e-mail campaigns  
    • Use advanced analytics to measure and assess the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
    • Identify digital marketing trends and brainstorm new and creative digital marketing strategies. Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them into the marketing activities where appropriate.
    • Work closely with other marketing functions, web designers, sales team, product managers and scientific groups on content generation to fulfill digital marketing campaigns

    The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following

    • Minimum BS in Marketing or related field
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, market development or other marketing role in analytical instrument markets
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
    • Experience in designing and optimizing website landing pages
    • Working knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    • Exceptional organization and problem solving skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
