•Issues quotations for product and services and processes orders within the export territory.
•Reviews customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness ensuring adherence to Company policies regarding incoterms, discounts, etc.
•Obtains proper documentation according to company policies.
•Confers with the Regional Managers and Sales Representatives when additional information is necessary to facilitate timely completion of order.
•Responds to customer inquiries and acts as a liaison between customers and internal personnel
•Follows through with shipments via freight forwarder to ensure that they arrive at the customer in a timely manner.
Oversees backlog of orders and ensures timely release for shipment and invoicing
•Assists in resolving customer collection issues on problem accounts.
•Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
•Experienced with Order processing systems and SAP, Microsoft Office Products Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Professional and courteous phone manner; responds promptly to customer needs.
•Gathers and analyzes information skillfully and has the ability to make practical decisions without advance preparation.
•Strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with customers and co-workers.
•Ability to organize and prioritize work activities and to handle multiple customer issues simultaneously.
•Life Sciences/Analytical Instrument Industry preferred
