Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

  • Collaborate with current Videographer and marketing team on storyboards, scripts, video shoots, and edits interactive video and audio assets for training and marketing purposes.
  • Convert existing concepts and plans into a finished marketing product. The candidate should be capable of innovating new ways in which video elements can enhance the overall marketing objectives of the company.
  • Translates ideas and concepts into video elements and implements them into each project.
  • Works with Product Managers and Applications Staff to deliver technical concepts in an engaging and creative manner.
  • Directly involved in every aspect of video production from scripting and video/audio capturing to non-linear editing and animation.
  • Conducts research to obtain necessary information while assisting in planning production.
  • Schedules and coordinates multiple projects from pre-production through post-production.
  • Ability to make decisions regarding lighting, camera placement and movements, audio recording, etc.
  • Coordinates live webinar segments with a strong understanding of live online video workflow.
  • Produces animations that complement other video content and enhances marketing objectives.

The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following

  • Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Television/ Video Production, Digital/Film Production or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant marketing/video production experience.
  • Experience producing videos for educational or marketing purposes is desired.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
  • Ability to use both professional video and DSLR equipment.
  • Required Skills:
    • Technical skills in the area of audio and video equipment, set design and lighting
    • Skilled in visualizing and shooting concepts effectively
    • Non-linear editing platforms (Adobe Premiere/Adobe After Effects)
    • Experience with other Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
    • 2D animation
    • Experienced with Youtube Metrics/Workflow
    • Experienced with color grading video footage
    • Experienced in Final Cut Pro
    • Google Analytics & SEO a plus
    • 3D animation a plus
  • Must have passport and ability to travel internationally.
