  • Overview

    TA Instruments is seeking a Digital & UI/UX Designer to join in our growing Marketing team. 

    Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

    • Design, implement, test, and deploy innovative new features and functionality for corporate websites and other digital media to provide an outstanding user experience.
    • Participate in cross functional teams to conceptualize and create new digital media that drives revenue.
    • Research emerging technologies and trends in digital and web design that fit, support, and accelerate our goals.
    • Drive email marketing best practices and code responsive email designs.
    • Collaborate with the web content manager to administer all corporate websites, including translations and localization.
    • Ensure quality and consistency across all browsers and interfaces, including maintaining graphic and branding standards.

    The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following



    • Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a four (4) year degree program in Web Development, Graphic Design, Information Sciences, or other relevant field, and 1-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • A portfolio of original work is mandatory for all applicants.


    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive website design.
    • A thorough understanding of UI/UX and graphic design principals.
    • Familiarity with a CMS (WordPress), SEO, and site traffic optimization.
    • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and responsive email design.
    • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Photoshop, Illustrator especially).
    • Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP and MySQL is a plus.
    • Experience with Google Analytics and Adwords is a plus.
